GEMS Program

The GEMS program was started by the Texas Council, when it hosted the event several years ago. Texas Council members expressed an interest in being able to “do more” to help make the Conference a success. Funds collected went to underwrite the cost of the program, including speaker expenses and social activities.

The GEMS program provides the opportunity for individual members, chapters, councils, and businesses to show their support of IMA® and the student community at a variety of financial support levels (see below). It is a way to enrich the experience of student attendees participating in the Conference and show them the long-term value of IMA membership. Contributions are tax deductible and often eligible for employer matching gift programs.

According to Bud Kulesza, CMA^®, CFM, past president of IMA, “Those who participate are truly ‘GEMS’ of the profession as they support the students, the future of our profession!”

If you’re interested in making a donation, simply send your contribution to the address below. If your employer offers a matching gift program, we ask that you complete the matching gift form from your employer and include it along with your gift.
