Registration & Cancellation-Refund Policies


Registration Policies
Registrations will only be accepted online, by fax or mail. Full payment must be received with your registration form or your registration will not be processed.

Purchase Orders/Payments
The IMA Annual Student Leadership Conference does not accept purchase orders as a form of payment. Please make advance payments by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or check. These forms of payment in addition to cash will be accepted for on-site payments. (*Note: On-site registration fees are non-refundable.)

Confirmation
Confirmation letters will be sent via e-mail upon receipt of full payment.

Important note: Please allow up to two weeks for confirmation of registrations paid by check and mailed to IMA.

Sessions
Only individuals registered and badged may attend Conference events.

Cancellation - Refunds

  • All cancellations must be received in writing to IMA in order to be processed. Cancellation requests may be e-mailed to Susan Bender at Sbender@imanet.org or faxed to (201) 474-1603.
  • Cancellation requests received by IMA prior to Friday, October 16, 2009 will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellation requests received by IMA after Friday, October 16, will incur a $50 cancellation charge.
  • No refunds will be available for cancellations after Friday, October 30, 2009, or for no-shows.

IMA is not responsible for delayed mail or incorrectly addressed correspondence. Refunds will be issued within sixty (60) days after the Conference.

IMA reserves the right to cancel the 10th Annual Student Leadership Conference if conditions warrant. In the event of such a cancellation, registration fees will be refunded. IMA is not responsible for any travel or lodging expenses or out-of-pocket costs incurred.

IMA is only responsible for processing the Conference registration. If for any reason you must cancel your Conference registration, please remember to cancel your hotel accommodations directly through the St. Louis Union Station Marriott.

IMA reserves the right to cancel sessions if minimum registration numbers are not met. Attendees will have the option to attend other sessions in the same time period.

Only individuals registered and badged may attend Conference events. Guests must register in order to attend sessions and conference meals.

Substitutions
Requests to substitute your registration must be in writing and received by IMA by Friday, October 16 to Sbender@imanet.org or by mail to: IMA, Attn: Student Conference, 10 Paragon Drive, Suite 1, Montvale, NJ 07645. Requests for substitutions will not be permitted after Friday, October 16. All substitutions are subject to a $25 administrative fee, plus any additional fees due to differences in the member type.

Liability Waiver
I agree and acknowledge that I am participating in IMA's 10th Annual Student Leadership Conference and related activities ("Events") at my own free and intentional act, and I am fully aware that possible physical injury and/or property damage might occur to me as a result of my participation in the Events, or to others because of my actions performed during the Events. I hereby assume full and complete responsibility for my own well-being and also for any injury or property damage to others caused by my actions, and further agree to hold IMA harmless for any liability that arises against IMA as a result of my actions relating to the Events.

Photography
I agree and acknowledge that IMA plans to take photographs at IMA's 10th Annual Student Leadership Conference and reproduce them in IMA educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including IMA website. By participating in IMA's 10th Annual Student Leadership Conference, I grant IMA the right to use my name, photograph and biography for such purposes.
