General Conference Information
✦ When and where is the Conference being held?
The IMA Student Leadership Conference will be held November 12-14, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Saint Louis Arch in Saint Louis, MO. The hotel is located at 315 Chestnut Street Saint Louis, MO 63102. The direct phone number is (314) 655-1234.
✦ What is the format of the Conference?
The Conference begins on Thursday, November 12, with industry visits (additional fees apply), registration, a networking reception, and an opportunity to visit the exhibit hall from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Friday will feature general sessions and concurrent sessions. A networking reception will be held at the end of the day. The reception and related activities are included as part of your Conference registration fee.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend more concurrent sessions on Saturday as well as the closing general session. There will also be a dedicated faculty session held on Friday and Saturday mornings. The Conference sessions will end at the conclusion of the general session at 12 p.m. Lunch will be available as grab and go or sit and chat depending on attendee travel schedules.
✦ Recruitment Opportunities
Several high-performing companies will be on-site during the exhibit hours on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning to recruit for internships and full-time entry-level positions. Be sure to have several copies of your resume on hand. Companies may select students to interview on-site. To be considered for these interview opportunities, submit your resume via the link in the registration email that you’ll receive after registering. Please be sure to submit resumes no later than Friday, October 9, 2026.
✦ T-Shirt Design Competition
All attending students are invited to participate in the SLC T-Shirt Design Competition.
✦ Is the Thursday night registration and reception mandatory?
The Thursday night reception is optional, but it is an excellent time to visit our exhibitors, receive your registration information, and network with fellow students, faculty members, and conference speakers.
✦ What is the dress code for the Conference?
Attire for Conference sessions and networking events is business casual, defined by IMA as slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses, and comfortable shoes.
✦ Is there an SLC conference app?
Yes, the app will be available to download 1-2 weeks prior to the Conference. It will feature the Conference program, speaker bios, speaker evaluations, gaming, and so much more. Please be sure to download it before you arrive at the Conference to take full advantage of it.
✦ Will SLC be active on social media sites?

✦ What is the cancellation policy?
Requests for cancellations must be submitted via email to LeighAnn Tobia (ltobia@imanet.org) prior to October 31, 2026, in order to receive a full refund. After November 1, no refunds will be allowed. IMA is not responsible for incorrectly addressed correspondence. Refunds will be issued within sixty (60) days after the Conference.
IMA is only responsible for processing the Conference registration. If for any reason you must cancel your Conference registration, please remember to cancel your hotel accommodation directly through the Hyatt Regency Saint Louis Arch.
IMA reserves the right to cancel the Annual Student Conference if conditions warrant. In the event of such a cancellation, registration fees will be refunded. IMA is not responsible for any travel or lodging expenses or out-of-pocket costs incurred.
Only individuals registered and badged may attend Conference events. Guest must register in order to attend sessions and Conference meals.
